A fabulous flock of Free Birds assembled for our first Whining and Winning Wednesdays at the studio of Dan Whipps Photography. An accomplished group of lady writers, editors, art directors, producers, photographers, graphic, floral and jewelry designers shared tales of woe and triumph in these days of economic downturn and stimulus packages. “MEGA MILLIONS” was the final word(s) as the group enthusiastically agreed to purchase lottery tickets. Our winning story would surely be Oprah-worthy. A quick check of the lottery results today showed that our $9 investment yielded $0. It should be noted that we did match a single number on each of three tickets.
